Overview
Masie Farms started rice cultivation in 2019 with fifty hectares (50ha) of farm in Karene District, Romende Chiefdom. In 2020, we are cultivating a two hundred and fifty hectares (250ha) in Gbomsamba village and an additional fifty hectares (50ha) at Rokon villaga in Karene District.
Present Opportunities
Presently, we have planted Ginger, Pepper and Groundnut in over 50 hectares of land in Kambia District .Our plan is to be active across the agricultural value chain in Sierra Leone. We have started preparation to cultivate rice in the next planting season.

Farm Services
Masie Farms is providing farm services to farmers to promote agriculture in Sierra Leone. We rent the following machinery; Tractors, Kubotas, Threshers, Harvesters/Reapers, Winnowers, & Transportation. As part of our services, we give advice to farmers to help them increase their yield.

Farm Sponsor
Masie Farms embarks on sponsoring farmers in and out grower scheme in which we provide basic support to farmers. Our mode of sponsor starts from land preparation to storage.

Agricultural Data Center
One of our main aim is to have a comprehensive data on all agricultural activities in the country, and number of people engaging in different agricultural activities.

Rice Farming
Masie farms started rice cultivation in 2019 with fifty hectares (50ha) of farm land in
Karene District, Romende chiefdom, foredugu section, Rotheren Village. In 2020, we are cultivating a two hundred and fifty hectares (250ha) In Gbomsamba village and an addition Fifty hectares (50ha) at Rokon village in Karene District, Romende chiefdom. We have a five year plan in which by 2024 we will be cultivating in all the districts in Sierra Leone.

Vegetable Farming
We are also involved in vegetable farming which we hope to extend to green house farming nect planting season.

Irrigation Ring
We are also looking forward to developing irrigation ring in which farmers can source water from.
